At its core, United Way is about neighbors helping neighbors – the very act of giving creates community.

Through your donations, we serve 93 agencies and fund more than 200 programs across the Charlotte region, from Union and Anson in the south to Mooresville/Lake Norman and Cabarrus to the north. Each addresses one (or more) of the basic building blocks of a better life – education, financial stability, and health.

Health and human service needs know no borders – our mission is to uplift the region as a whole, which positively affects us all. At the same time, we know you wish to impact your own neighborhood. A donation to the Community Care Fund accomplishes both.

For a complete agency-by-agency and county-by-county breakdown of where the 2009 campaign funds are being distributed, please click here for the 2010-2011 Regional Fund Distribution Report.
